MC COLLINS’ MAGPIES CONTINUE TO STRUGGLE AS KALIFA SCORES 3 IN 3RD STRAIGHT LOSS IN AUSTRALIA

Kalifa Mc Collin scored 3 goals from 4 attempts, as her Collingwood Magpies lost their third straight game in the Suncorp Super League to the Sunshine Coast Lightning in Australia on Saturday.

It is the second straight game that Mc Collin has started on the side line after starting the first, as coach Nicole Richardson is keeping faith with Jamaican Shimona Nelson who scored 40 from 43 and Australian Gabrielle Sinclair who scored 11 from 12 attempts. For the winners, Cara Koenen scored 39 goals, inclusive of 2 super goals, Steph Wood scored 24, inclusive of 4 super goals and Ugandan Peace Proscovia scored 6.

Magpies next play Queensland Firebirds next Saturday.
