The Trinidad and Tobago Beach Soca Warriors arrived in Costa Rica on Saturday, as they attempt to qualify for the World Cup to be held in Russia later this year.
Spanish born coach Ramiro Amarelle told TTFF media the team arrived only 48 hours before the Costa Rica match, but they will work hard and use the 2 training sessions to give their best for the country.
Trinidad and Tobago will play in Group C and will open against hosts Costa Rica on Monday. Tuesday the national team will face USA and Turks and Caicos Islands on Wednesday to wrap up the first round.
Group A has only 3 teams, while Groups B and C have 4 teams.. The top 2 teams from Group A and the top 3 teams from Groups B and C will progress to the quarter finals that will begin on Friday.
