Collingwood Magpies got their second win of the season, when they beat the Queensland Firebirds with a close 68-65 score line. However, Trinidad and Tobago’s top shooter, Kalifa McCollin did not get any playing time on the court, as she was an unused substitute.

Jamaican Shimona Nelson scored 53 goals from 54 attempts for Magpies, while Gabrielle Sinclair scored 15 goals (7 regular goals and 4 super shots). Magpies have now won 2 from 4 and are now into the Top half of the standings on 4th, in the 8-team table.
Magpies next play New South Wales Swifts, as Mc Collin in set to face her Trinidad and Tobago international team mate Samantha Wallace, next week Sunday.
