Problems in the National Basketball Federation of Trinidad and Tobago continue, as Vice President in charge of Communication and Marketing, Stefan Dillon, resigned from his position on Wednesday. In an email to media colleagues, the University of Trinidad and Tobago Head Coach indicated the decision has come after months of deliberation, but felt it is time for him to step away from the organisation and place more focus on his personal growth, development and security.
Mr Dillon is the third elected Vice President to resign from the executive. Just months after being elected into office, VP- Finance, Tobagonian Kieron McDougall in 2019 was the first VP to resign, after he was not happy with the way things were being done in the NBFTT. Last year Technical and Training VP, Kerry Celestine, also from Tobago resigned. Celestine was replaced by Ishmael St. Bryce and Mc Dougall has been replaced by the suspended Ikenna Joseph.
