DENNIS LAWRENCE ADDED TO COVENTRY CITY BACKROOM STAFF

He is most known for scoring the goal that sent this country to the 2006 World Cup in Germany. And 12 years later, Dennis Lawrence was in charge of a team that prevented the USA from going to Russia. In 2021, Coventry City boss Mark Robins has added the tall defender to his backroom staff as a first team coach. Dennis Lawrence was announced by the club on Friday as the first signing for the summer. According to the coventrytelegraph.net, the 46 year old former Defence Force player will meet up with the team when they arrive for preseason training.

Lawrence began his playing career at Malick Secondary Comprehensive School, before starting his club career at Barataria Ballplayers then proceeding to Caledonia AIA and Defence Force. Then he crossed the Atlantic,  heading to the UK to play with Wrexham, Swansea then Crewe Alexandra.

Dennis Lawrence will serve as a first team coach, working alongside manager Mark Robins and assistant Adi Viveash.
