The Trinidad and Tobago Women 3X3 team followed the men out of the AmeriCup 3X3 tournament in Miami, after 2 losses in Pool C. The quartet of Kielle Connelly, Chervelle Cox, Nikya Baptiste and Kristin Rampersad made history when they became the first women to represent this country in a 3×3 game.

The first game didn’t go well at all against the USA, as the taller and faster Americans were just too good for the smaller Trinidadians as the score read 22-2 on behalf of the North Americans.

The second game against Argentina was more competitive as Trinidad and Tobago kept things close early on. As the game progressed, Argentina continue to add more to the lead and eventually came away 15-6 winners. Trinidad and Tobago finished third in Pool C.
