In the first game at the St Paul street venue in over a decade, Police started on an 8-0 run before Shannon Harris broke the streak with a 3. But it was all Police who led throughout the game, closed the first quarter with a 16-11 lead.

UTT improved their game from the second quarter and trailed 32-36 at the half.
In the end, it was a 65-57 win for the Lawmen as they begin their 2022 BBL campaign on a winning note./
After the game Police’s Joel Hinds says St Paul street is a “safe haven. Plus we have Police playing, and we will have our patrols”.
