Maloney Pacers scored the biggest win of the BBL season, as they scored a season-high 116 points in a huge win over the University of Trinidad and Tobago. Ahkeem ‘Fatto’ Boyd scored a game-high 33 points as they beat police 116-67 in the most one-sided win for the season.
The Pacers (4-0) have now won all their games by 20 points or more, as they make a strong statement in the BBL as they have now emerged as one of the favourites, having already beaten Quarters. They face the Clippers on Friday.
Pacers led 32-13 after the first quarter and 67-32 at the half, as they led throughout the game. ‘Fatto’ scored 9 threes as the Pacers as a team connected 19 three-pointers in the win. UTT had a much better second half as they restricted the Pacers to just 49 points while they scored 35.
In addition to ‘Fatto’, Ahkeel ‘Small’ Boyd scored 25 and Peter Alexis scored 15. For UTT, Joel Timothy scored 19, Brandon Kelly scored 12 and veteran Michael Jerome added 11.
Pacers and Valencia are the only unbeaten teams remaining in the BBL.
